1. FILTERS - PRODUCT VERSIONS

1.1. B+W "F-PRO" (Standard Filters MRC and MC)

The new F-PRO mount is now flatter and therefore can be used with many more wide-angle lenses. This filter type is always suitable for focal lenghts of 35mm, on most 28mm lenses, and depending on construction of the lens even down to 17mm focal lenght. The outstanding mechanical characteristics and manufacturing quality has been retained.

1.2. B+W SILVER "DIGITAL-PRO"

This is the same as above (1.1.) but finished in chrome-silver

1.3. B+W "SLIMLINE" WIDE-ANGLE FILTERS

For Super-wide-angle lenses with a focal lenght of 17mm or above. Standard filtermount thickness is 3mm, for SLIM-Polarising filter 5mm. These filters do not have a front filter thread.

1.4. B+W "EW" EXTRAWIDE WIDEANGLE-FILTERS

For use with Super-wide-angle lenses, and essential for Large-Format wide-angle lenses as these work on an adjustable image circle. These filters provide the extra coverage required to allow image circles of 100-120 degrees.

1.5. B+W "Bajonett" Filters Rollei and Hasselblad

1.6. B+W "Glas Plate" Filters (unmounted glas only)

For Large and Medium Format applications. Highest quality optical glas plates for filter holders - sizes 75x75mm and 100x100mm. These glas plate filters provide for the best optical performance and are superior to plastic filters in terms of homogenity of material, overall flatness (parralel) and surface quality.

2. NEW "MRC" - MULTI-RESISTANT-COATING AND "MC" MULTI-COATING

B+W's new and proprietary MRC is one of the best and most effective multi-coating, providing optimised anti-reflection and perfectly neutral colour transmission values. But not only that, it is actually harder than the glas itself, protecting it from scratches during cleaning and use. The other unique feature is its ability to repel water and dirt thereby making it much easier to keep the glass free of contamination in the form of dirt, dust, smudges and smears. For the most demanding photographic applications this is the new filter version to choose.

B+W's MC Multi-coating filters feature a highest quality single anti-reflection coating. For normal photographic use in most situations this is perfectly adequate. MC coated filters are significantly less expensive due to the less elaborate manufacturing process.
