35mm SLIDE SCANNING SERVICE TO CD AND DVD

We offer a dedicated 35mm Slide Scanning Service which provides the highest quality scanning of your 35mm Slides and then transfer to digital media, such as CD, for use in computers or in a straight-forward DVD-format for playback through your DVD player on a TV screen.

We understand the value of your film and we will do everything in our power to ensure that the quality is unsurpassed so that we never have an unsatisfied customer. We pride ourselves in our track record since we started business in 1993, and have always made sure that each and every one of our customers are treated with professionalism and a personal touch.

All slide film is scanned on the finest, state of the art equipment available on the market today, along with Digital ICE programme (infra-red film surface dust and defect elimination technology), as standard and other picture enhancement programmes as needed, in order to get the best out of your pictures.
 
We convert your slides into industry standard TIFF or JPEG image files, not proprietary formats such as Kodak's PictureCD or PhotoCD. With Kodak's proprietary formats, you are limited to the usefulness, ability to copy, and compatibility with your software.

Our Bronze Service includes rotation and cropping. It is ideal for those who want to be involved in the final stages of image adjustment USING PhotoShop or other image editing software.

Bronze Service level includes:

Infrared dust and scratch reduction (ICE)

Auto cropping to eliminate the border from the slide mount (With Bronze service, a few crops might be missing and the edge of the mount could show in the corners and along one or more edges of the image)

Image rotation as required

Burn to Disc

Single folder. Additional folder are £1.00 each

Files named in sequence (ie. image 0001, 0002, 0003, etc.)

Possibly not print or video ready if slides are old and faded, but ready for final adjustment in PhotoShop, PaintShop, etc.

Sliver Service is designed for the general public who want a cost effective way for digitalising their slide collection but do not want to be involved in the final image adjustments and/or would like a DVD Video created at the same time as the scanning. This process produces very acceptable digital images for print and video in most situations.

Silver processing service includes:

Infrared dust and scratch reduction (ICE).

Manual cropping to eliminate the border from the slide mount.

Automated post scan image adjustment (colour/contrast) and some manual corrections to images.

Image rotation as required

Burn to disc

Maximum of 2 folders for every 100 images. Additional folders are £1.00 each

Flies named in sequence (ie. image 0001, 0002, 0002, etc.)

Print and video ready, if slides are in relatively good condition.  Both our Silver and Gold services apply colour and fade  restorations when required, but in extreme cases, where the dyes in the film have faded to far, even the best digital enhancement will fail to recover the original state.

Gold service is designed for the professional that demands the fines possible digital image from a slide.

Gold processing includes:

Infrared dust and scratch reduction (ICE).

Automated colour correction and fade restoration as required

Manual cropping to eliminate the border from the slide mount

Post scan manual image adjustment (colour/contrast/minor spotting cropping), performed on each individual slide.

Image rotation as required

Burn to disc

Maximum of 4 folders for every 100 images. Additional folders are £1.00 each

Within each folder , flies will be named in sequence (ie. image 0001, 0002, 0003, etc.)

Print and video ready, if slides are in relatively good condition.  Both our Silver and Gold services apply colour and fade  restorations when required, but in extreme cases, where the dyes in the film have faded to far, even the best digital enhancement will fail to recover the original state.
